Incra Miter 5000 Play

Hey everyone. I purchased an Incra Miter 5000 awhile ago and have finally started using it regularly. During initial setup, I made sure that the GlideLOCK Miter Bar was snug and had no play. After a few cuts, I’m noticing that the sled has a bit of play. After taking the sled apart, rechecking the Miter Bar, and reassembling it, low and behold, same amount of play.

I have a Ridgid R4512 table saw, no Saw Stop, but good enough. Thinking that the problem could be with the miter bar slot of my saw, I got out my caliper and checked the width throughout the slot. All is good there too.

So, am I crazy, or do you have the find sweet spot with those adjustable washers once the sled is fully assembled, even after initial setup?

New concept of mine to incorporate LEDs into my work. I know we hate resin tables but I love incorporating electronics into stuff, tons of fun.
