I’m building garage cabinets which are by far my most aggressive project to date. The project is framed in and I’m planning to add the face / doors as the next step. Before I move to that stage, I want to put a finish on the interior of the cabinets, which are birch plywood. I have not stained / finished wood before, thus my question: What is the easiest / best / nicest looking finish I can use to stain & finish the birch plywood? It would be ideal if I could stain / varnish at the same time - just to save me some time to an already lengthy project. Wood protection is my first priority and appearance is a second. Thanks!
